I am a Texas girl, a following nomad – going to any place my King calls me to. I am best described as greatly flawed, wholly loved, daily refined, and completely forgiven by the blood of Christ. I am a writer, a freelance editor, a wife, a mother (new in 2020), an Aunt, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a traveler. My blog provides portions of my story, as each new day I’m given, I seek who I am supposed to become. By grace. I can only live by grace! Psalm 46:10a

I am a free lance Editor. A deep passion of mine. I began years ago and haven’t looked back. There is an address below that is reserved for editing/writing and proofreading inquiries. I would love to hear from you!

A caption, nor a book could fully describe this treasure of a friend. This is Kristin. She and I have a storied friendship that twists and weaves and surprises and ultimately, strengthens. She is a rock. If you had asked either of us, when we first met 13 years ago, if we thought we’d be friends – we would have shrugged and said “probably not”. But God – His story is grandest and the most beautiful. Exceeding our expectations and giving grace in its place. My sincere desire is for everyone to have a friend like Kristin. She is one of the most beautiful and brave and wise people I know. We’ve been through a great deal – and we chose, long ago, that we will stay. Regardless of miles and time between – we’re in each other’s live for the better and for the long haul.
“And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.” ~ Kahlil Gibran
The incomparable Jayme on her wedding day. One of my lifelines – a rock, an enduring support in my life. She teaches me about confidence and steadiness. She is one of the most gracious and peaceful people I’ve ever met. I trust her with everything.
My ever-interesting, quite funny sister. Us, Thanksgiving 2012. She and I have come to grow together as we’ve grown older. We played together as kids, but spent many years not investing in our bond as sisters. We are finally there and its the time I wish we’d always shared. She makes me laugh deep and hard and I am thankful that I have a person who’s known me since birth, to be my equal, my trusted friend.

My amazing husband, whom I met in 2016. I lived a full, wonderful life before we met. I was then surprised by how more rich a life could be. I have many thoughts and opinions about how we are whole people on our own. How we as humans don’t need another person to have value or fullness. However if you find someone who adds light and depth to your days, don’t shrink away from that beauty. I learned to let myself be loved, and the reward is far greater in reality than any story or imagination could conjure.

Life is full of surprises, joy, adventure and opportunity. Every day is something to be thankful for and to build memories abundant.

I am thankful you are here.
